About the Role
As the Head of Human Resources, you will serve as a vital strategic partner to the management team. Your mission is to align human capital practices with business objectives to drive organizational growth. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, from high-level strategic planning and workforce development to daily operations and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR roadmaps that support LAGRIDE’s overarching business goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top-tier industry talent.
- Performance Management: Foster a culture of excellence by designing robust appraisal systems and productivity initiatives.
- Learning & Development: Identify skill gaps and spearhead training programs that promote leadership and continuous professional growth.
- Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive, healthy, and highly engaged work environment while managing conflict resolution.
- Operations & Compliance: Maintain full adherence to Nigerian labor laws and ensure data-driven decision-making through HR analytics.
Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, you must be a visionary leader with a solid foundation in HR management. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- A professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI).
- 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor legislation and modern HR information systems (HRIS).
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
