The Opportunity: Warehouse Associate - Solar Inverter

As a Warehouse Associate - Solar Inverter, you will be a crucial part of our supply chain, ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of all inverter-related products and accessories within our regional warehouse. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Coordinator – Solar Inverter, your expertise will ensure inventory integrity and operational efficiency, directly supporting our mission to deliver life-changing solar technology.

What You'll Be Expected To Do: Your Day-to-Day Impact

This role demands precision, accountability, and a proactive approach. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of our solar inverter products within the warehouse, from receipt to dispatch:

Inventory Handling & Stock Management:

Oversee the receipt of all inverter products and accessories, ensuring strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct thorough physical inspections and quantity verification of inbound shipments.
Accurately update inventory records in Sun King’s ERP system and relevant Google files.
Participate in regular stock counts, reconciliations, and promptly report any discrepancies.
Utilize barcode/RFID scanners for precise product capture and report any damages immediately.

Inbound Management & Profiling:

Accurately profile each inverter and accessory in the inventory system (e.g., SAP WM), capturing critical details via scanning.
Ensure all items are correctly labeled and fully traceable.
Complete profiling within a 24-hour timeframe to maintain real-time inventory visibility.

Storage & Organization:

Store inverter units and accessories in designated bin locations, optimizing space and adhering to safety guidelines.
Maintain proper segregation of different inverter models and accessories for efficient picking.
Periodically reorganize inventory to align with stock movement patterns.

Dispatch & Fulfillment:

Handle the picking, scanning, and preparation of inverter units and accessories for outbound orders or internal transfers.
Ensure correct serial numbers are captured at dispatch.
Confirm the completeness and accuracy of all supplementary materials, such as waybills and packing lists.

Warehouse Operations & Maintenance:

Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment daily.
Strictly follow all standard operating procedures and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines.
Assist in optimizing storage areas for efficient workflow.

Team Contributions & Compliance:

Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
Promptly report operational issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Warehouse Coordinator.
Engage in training programs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Compliance:

Uphold Sun King’s HSE standards within the warehouse, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
Report safety incidents or equipment malfunctions without delay.

Accountability:

Demonstrate accurate handling, recording, and reporting of all inventory movements.
Ensure timely and error-free picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate?

We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about operational excellence and making a difference. You might be an ideal fit if you possess:

An HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a closely related field.
A minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations or inventory control. Experience with electronic equipment or serialized stock is a distinct advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP WM or similar warehouse management systems, skilled in barcode/RFID scanning and mobile inventory tools, and knowledge of stock profiling, serial number tracking, and accessory bundling.
Excellent communication and meticulous record-keeping skills.
A reliable, accountable, and collaborative team player attitude.
The ability to follow procedures diligently with minimal supervision.
