As the company continues to expand its production capabilities at its Idanre factory, we are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to join our team.
This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional who thrives on bridging the gap between demand, supply, finance, and commercial functions. You will act as the orchestrator of our end-to-end planning process, ensuring that our ambitious growth goals are supported by robust, data-driven operational strategies.
What You Will Do
- Drive S&OP Strategy: Design and govern a rigorous monthly S&OP cycle, from demand reviews to executive-level decision-making.
- Optimize Demand & Supply: Lead consensus forecasting by aligning Sales, Marketing, and Finance, while coordinating with Manufacturing and Procurement to balance capacity with market demand.
- Financial Integration: Translate volume plans into financial projections, providing the leadership team with a 3–18 month outlook on potential risks and growth opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Define and monitor policies for safety stock and inventory health to ensure high customer service levels (OTIF) while managing costs.
- Data & Systems Leadership: Leverage ERP and BI tools to provide clear, actionable visibility into the business performance and drive data quality improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and strategic alignment across the entire organization.
Who You Are
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in supply chain management and a passion for operational excellence. You should possess:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Economics (an MBA or professional certification is a significant advantage).
- Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years focused specifically on S&OP or integrated planning within an FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced analytical tools like Power BI or Excel.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
