Role Overview
As the Profit Center Head, you will be at the helm of comprehensive operations, ensuring strict compliance, robust sustainability practices, and exceptional financial performance. This high-impact leadership role requires balancing large-scale operational execution with strategic expansion, driving business goals aligned with global environmental and financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end operations, seamlessly integrating planning, processing, and export execution.
- Strategic Growth: Define and execute long-term strategic plans, spearheading expansion initiatives and managing large-scale capital and operational expenditure (capex/opex) projects.
- Financial Accountability: Deliver robust financial performance by optimizing volumes, gross contributions, overheads, and overall profitability targets.
- Sustainability & Compliance: Champion the sustainability strategy, ensuring full compliance with global environmental standards and certifications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with regulators, local communities, customers, and industry leaders within complex operating environments.
- Talent Development: Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams, fostering structured career development and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Management, Agriculture, Forestry, or a closely related field (preferred).
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, or senior business leadership roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing P&L, large-scale budgets, multi-location operations, and large teams.
- Extensive exposure to regulated, large-scale, or sustainability-driven industries.
- Exceptional business acumen, leadership capabilities, and experience navigating diverse stakeholder ecosystems.
