As we continue our rapid expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa, we are looking for a dedicated professional to lead our treasury operations, ensuring our financial health as we scale our world-class manufacturing facilities.
The Role
As our Treasurer, you will play a pivotal role in the fiscal stability of the Group. Your core mission will be to lead and coordinate all treasury functions, ranging from liquidity management and cash flow operations to the strict governance of daily banking activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance expert to shape the treasury landscape of a leading industrial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash & Liquidity Management: Proactively monitor daily cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity across all bank accounts.
- Payment Operations: Oversee the end-to-end processing of vendor payments, payroll, statutory remittances, and intercompany transfers.
- Strategic Banking: Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with banking partners to guarantee efficient service delivery.
- Financial Governance: Enforce rigorous treasury policies, internal controls, and ensure 100% compliance with regulatory thresholds.
- Transaction Monitoring: Review and validate high-value local and international trade payments.
- Process Innovation: Spearhead initiatives to automate and improve the efficiency of treasury workflows.
- Compliance: Manage all statutory treasury returns and central bank documentation, including capital import certificates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of an HND or a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Corporate Finance, ideally within a multi-entity organization.
- Possession of a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA is considered a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to upholding financial controls and regulatory standards.
