Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Investment Operations Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operational activities of the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing trade lifecycle management, settlements, and clearing operations.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts, portfolios, and transactions.
- Collaborating with front-office teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and discrepancies.
- Maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management frameworks.
- Continuously improving operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Reporting directly to senior management on operational metrics and risk assessments.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
We are looking for driven, meticulous, and experienced professionals who possess the following qualifications:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIS, ACA, CFA) will be an added advantage.
- Proven professional experience in investment operations, middle-office, or back-office roles within the financial services or investment banking sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
