Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and general transactions.
- Manage operating expenditures, oversee accrual and prepayment processes, and prepare annual and monthly budgets with regular performance reviews.
- Develop comprehensive cash flow projections and actively manage company liquidity.
- Prepare tax returns, ensure strict compliance with corporate reporting requirements, and guarantee timely filing of statutory deductions.
- Conduct weekly bank reconciliations and oversee daily transaction postings and period-end journals.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, reporting variances to management and identifying process improvements.
- Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes seamlessly.
- Manage statutory audits of financial statements and ensure timely filing with regulatory authorities.
- Process and review monthly payroll schedules alongside month-on-month variance analyses.
- Enforce strict adherence to all internal finance policies and procedures.
- Support fundraising activities and manage reporting for existing shareholders and debt providers, including covenant monitoring.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a robust system of internal financial and operational controls.
- Drive and support automation and digital transformation projects within the company.
- Prepare high-level quarterly reports for the Board and Board committees.
- Research, assess, and implement new accounting standards and policy changes.
