We are currently looking for a strategic, results-oriented Senior Finance Manager to lead our Haulage, Leasing, and Logistics divisions.
The Role
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a key member of our finance leadership team. You will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring rigorous governance, and providing the strategic insights necessary to scale our logistics operations. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who thrives in an asset-intensive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct finance operations specifically tailored to fleet management, haulage, leasing, and logistics.
- Optimize profitability through efficient asset management and strategic cost reduction.
- Lead the full spectrum of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and statutory compliance.
- Manage complex lease accounting, working capital, and accounts receivable.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership to facilitate informed business decision-making.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA is an asset).
- Mandatory: Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA).
- At least 15 years of progressive experience, specifically within the logistics, haulage, or transportation sectors.
- Expertise in IFRS standards, Nigerian tax regulations, and modern ERP systems.
- Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to manage diverse stakeholders in a results-driven culture.
