The Role and Impact

As the Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the organization’s financial records, reporting processes, budgeting systems, and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you will be expected to manage a wide spectrum of financial operations, including:

• Financial Record Keeping: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile accurate financial records in full compliance with recognized accounting standards.
• Reporting & Budgeting: Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and operational budgets to guide executive decision-making.
• Operational Finance: Direct and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and cash flow management to guarantee seamless financial operations.
• Statutory & Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all relevant statutory regulations, including prompt tax filings, VAT, PAYE, pension contributions, and local regulatory reporting.
• Audits & Controls: Coordinate internal and external audit processes and implement robust internal controls to mitigate risk and safeguard assets.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial variances, track organizational performance, and offer key recommendations to boost profitability and drive cost efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of robust, hands-on accounting and finance experience.
