Job Objectives
The successful candidates will be tasked with the following primary objectives:
- To effectively sell the bank’s products, mobilize and grow deposit liabilities through various products, and generate revenue.
- Source for new customers and maintain existing accounts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Book quality assets and ensure effective portfolio monitoring for early detection of defaults.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Win new accounts and resuscitate dormant relationships.
- Market the bank’s products to meet customer needs.
- Initiate development of products required to meet customer needs.
- Ensure efficient service and maintenance of existing customers.
- Ensure zero tolerance for inactive/dormant accounts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Business Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum Education: First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably business-related.
- Higher Degrees (MBA) or relevant Professional Certificates will be an added advantage.
Experience & Grade:
- Minimum experience – 3 years of relevant banking (marketing and credit) experience.
- Grade Level: Assistant Banking Officer (ABO) – Senior Banking Officer (SBO).
