The Role

As a Relationship Officer, you will serve as the face of our brand within assigned localities. You will play a critical role in managing partnerships with various associations, driving customer acquisition, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our financial products, including loans, savings, micro-pension, and micro-insurance. Your efforts will contribute directly to our mission of becoming the dominant market leader in the micro-lending space across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and onboard new markets while driving loan disbursement targets.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong ties with association leaders to foster trust and ensure sustainable portfolio growth.
• Market Activation: Execute localized sales strategies to increase product adoption at the grassroots level.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor your sales pipeline, loan collections, and personal KPIs to ensure consistent performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Team Leads and the marketing department to design campaigns that enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• A minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in any field of study.
• 1 - 3 years of proven sales experience within the financial services industry.
• Prior experience in lending and/or collections is considered a significant advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage community leaders and association members effectively.
