About the Role
The Relationship Manager for Digital Products is a key strategic role at Sage-Grey Finance. You will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and market penetration of the Company’s digital lending, savings, and investment products. This includes leading-edge digital lending solutions such as personal loans, salary-backed loans, payday loans, public sector loans, and SME working capital facilities. This role acts as a vital link between the company and its external partners, cooperatives, and retail and institutional clients to scale digital operations and optimize conversion funnels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Products (Lending)
- Drive adoption and volume across various digital lending products, including SME credit facilities, salary-backed loans, payday loans, and group loans.
- Source and onboard quality loan customers through multiple digital acquisition channels like social media, online campaigns, email, and digital partnerships.
- Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation and assessment to customer onboarding.
- Perform preliminary due diligence and assessments on loan applications before transferring them to credit risk and operations teams.
2. Digital Products (Deposits & Investment)
- Market and promote digital savings, investments, and deposit products to increase low-cost deposit mobilization.
- Onboard retail, SME, and institutional customers onto digital platforms.
- Promote products like fixed deposits, target savings, rent saver, and other digital wealth products.
- Monitor deposit growth, retention, and customer active usage trends across digital channels.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant customer transaction records in line with regulatory frameworks and internal credit policies.
- Collaborate with Legal and Risk teams to perform thorough KYC/AML compliance checks.
- Prepare and analyze periodic portfolio performance reports for top management.
4. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Build and manage high-value strategic relationships with fintech partners, corporate aggregators, cooperatives, and public sector institutions.
- Lead high-level meetings, presentations, and industry engagements representing the company's digital portfolio.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Credit Risk, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless transaction executions.
Ideal Profile & Experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in digital banking, credit sales, or business development within a structured financial institution.
- Deep knowledge of electronic banking systems, credit processes, and digital lending platforms.
- Strong financial analysis capabilities, strategic customer relationship skills, and advanced sales techniques.
- A solid grasp of the lending dynamics in the Nigerian market.
