The Opportunity: Professional Accountant at Mai Shayi Coffee

As our Professional Accountant, you will be a cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial records. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the overall financial health of Mai Shayi Coffee. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company financial policies.
• Process payroll and oversee financial transactions with accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, efficiency, and cost management.

What We're Looking For: Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will bring a robust blend of qualifications and practical experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
