The Role: Direct Sales Agent (DSA)
As a Direct Sales Agent, you will act as the primary interface between the bank and prospective clients. Your core mission will be to expand the bank’s customer base, drive product acquisition, and promote key financial offerings. This is a dynamic sales position that demands resilience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers through cold calling, community networking, client referrals, and leveraging local market intelligence to acquire new accounts.
- Product Promotion and Sales: Present, explain, and pitch the features and benefits of various banking products, including loans, savings accounts, and credit facilities, while aligning solutions with the clients' specific needs.
- Customer Assistance and Relationship Management: Deliver customized support to prospects, guiding them through eligibility checks and product onboarding to build long-term, trusting relationships.
- Application and Documentation Support: Assist applicants in compiling required paperwork, reviewing files for accuracy, and ensuring all submissions meet compliance standards to facilitate smooth internal processing.
- Sales Tracking and Reporting: Monitor individual sales pipelines, track daily targets, and compile progress reports for supervisory review.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to banking laws, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, and the bank's internal policies to maintain ethical standards of conduct.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product specialists, to optimize customer reach and reach collective business objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any field.
- Experience: 0 - 2 years of experience (ideal for enthusiastic fresh graduates or early-career professionals).
- Age Limit: Must be between 20 and 35 years of age.
