The Role

As a Loan Officer, you will serve as a vital link between the bank and our community. You will be responsible for expanding our loan portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that our clients receive the financial support they need while maintaining the bank's rigorous credit standards.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and recruit new loan customers through active market engagement.
Effectively promote and communicate the value of the bank's diverse loan products.
Conduct field visits, market storms, and community outreach programs to build visibility.
Achieve and surpass monthly loan disbursement targets.
Evaluate, process, and conduct thorough interviews with loan applicants to assess financial health, repayment capacity, and risk exposure.
Proactively monitor and manage your assigned loan portfolio to ensure high repayment rates.
Cultivate and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with our clients.

Requirements

Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or BSC in Banking Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience within the microfinance or commercial banking sector.
Skills: Excellent marketing, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
Attributes: Demonstrated integrity, a strong ethical compass, and the ability to thrive in a field-based, target-driven environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Neptune Microfinance Bank values talent and performance. We offer a competitive guaranteed monthly salary between N400,000 and N500,000, supplemented by an attractive incentive structure of 0.5% of your monthly disbursement.
