Job Summary

The successful candidate will manage the company's daily financial records, ensure complete compliance with local accounting standards, and prepare accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate must have 3–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, a strong mastery of QuickBooks, and should reside in or close to the Isolo area for a smooth daily commute.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Accountant at Pruvia Integrated Limited, your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

Maintaining precise financial records and ensuring timely daily bookkeeping.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside management reports.
Recording daily financial transactions and performing accurate bank reconciliations.
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
Processing payroll and ensuring appropriate statutory deductions where applicable.
Preparing and filing monthly and annual tax returns (including VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory obligations).
Monitoring company budgets, operating expenses, and cash flow to aid financial planning.
Conducting regular account reconciliations and resolving any identified discrepancies.
Supporting both internal and external audit processes.
Maintaining organized and thorough documentation of financial transactions.
Ensuring strict compliance with internal company financial policies and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Recommending actionable improvements to current accounting processes and internal controls.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
Experience: 3–4 years of proven accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Professional Certifications: ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or ATS certifications will be an added advantage.
Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory. Familiarity with other accounting software (e.g., Sage, Zoho Books, Tally, or ERP systems) is an advantage.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills; high integrity, strict confidentiality, and excellent organizational communication.
Location: Must reside in Isolo or surrounding areas such as Ejigbo, Okota, Ajao Estate, Oshodi, Mafoluku, Ilasamaja, Mushin, or Surulere.
