About the Role: Your Impact as an Inventory Analyst
As an Inventory Analyst at Powergas Nigeria, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our critical inventory. This position is central to our operational excellence, directly contributing to our ability to reliably serve our growing client base and manage our valuable assets effectively. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that our inventory processes are robust, accurate, and continuously improving.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Inventory Data: Dive deep into inventory records, sales forecasts, and operational data to identify trends, predict future needs, and flag potential discrepancies. Your insights will be crucial for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Be the guardian of our inventory data, ensuring that physical stock levels consistently match system records. This involves meticulous tracking and reconciliation efforts.
- Conduct Stock Reconciliations: Regularly perform detailed reconciliations between physical counts and system records, investigating and resolving any variances promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Improve Inventory Control & Efficiency: Proactively identify areas for improvement in our inventory management processes. You will recommend and implement strategies to enhance control, reduce waste, optimize stock levels, and drive overall operational efficiency.
Preferred Experience & Skills
We are seeking candidates who bring a strong foundation in inventory management principles and a keen eye for detail. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Inventory Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing complex inventories, understanding stock turnover, and implementing best practices.
- Stock Control Acumen: Familiarity with various stock control methods and the ability to apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reconciliation Proficiency: A strong track record in conducting thorough stock reconciliations and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Inventory Reporting Skills: Ability to generate clear, accurate, and insightful reports on inventory status, performance, and forecasts for management.
