Role Overview

The Internal Auditor will serve as an independent voice, providing objective assurance on governance, risk management, and internal control systems. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all manufacturing processes adhere to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Execution: Develop and execute risk-based audit plans covering production, procurement, inventory, and finance.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify operational and financial risks, providing actionable recommendations to protect company assets.
Fraud Investigation: Lead investigations into irregularities or control breaches and implement robust preventive measures.
Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to recommend process optimizations that enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
Reporting: Deliver high-quality, professional audit reports to management, clearly outlining root causes and corrective actions.

Qualification Requirements

HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must possess a professional certification such as CIA, ACA, or ACCA.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance.
Demonstrated experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and audit management software.
Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
