The Role

As an Internal Auditor within the manufacturing sector, you will be the backbone of operational integrity. Your work will provide independent, objective assurance, helping the leadership team navigate risks and optimize business processes. From production lines to procurement departments, you will ensure that every facet of the operation functions at its peak potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Management: Design and implement audit plans that address critical manufacturing risks, including inventory management, procurement, and production cycles.
• Audit Execution: Conduct comprehensive audits—financial, operational, and compliance—to ensure that all records are accurate and policies are strictly followed.
• Fraud Prevention: Act as a proactive guardian for the company by investigating irregularities and recommending robust control measures.
• Process Improvement: Use your findings to recommend actionable, cost-effective solutions that drive productivity and operational efficiency.
• Reporting: Communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CIA, ACA, or ACCA) is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced data analysis tools (Microsoft Excel).
• Exceptional report-writing and presentation skills.
