Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the team with day-to-day financial and bookkeeping functions, including:

  • Bookkeeping & Financial Records: Maintaining accurate, tidy, and up-to-date physical and digital financial records.
  • Invoicing & Receivables Support: Assisting with client billing and tracking incoming payments.
  • Vendor Payments & Payables Support: Coordinating and documenting disbursements to suppliers and vendors.
  • Bank & Cash Reconciliation: Assisting in routine bank statement and cash-on-hand reconciliations.
  • Inventory Accounting: Assisting in tracking stock levels and conducting inventory-related reconciliation tasks.
  • Reporting & Administrative Support: Generating basic reports and providing administrative assistance to the management team.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field.
  • Fresh graduates who have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) are highly encouraged to apply.
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial records).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly important. Knowledge of Zoho Books is an added advantage but not mandatory.
