The Role

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and risk management while providing expert counsel to the executive team.
Business Development: Identify growth opportunities and spearhead initiatives to drive profitability and revenue streams.
Financial Analysis & Planning: Present actionable KPIs and financial metrics to the Board, ensuring robust internal controls.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage liquidity and build strong relationships with financial institutions to facilitate growth capital.
Compliance: Ensure full adherence to Nigerian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal audit standards.
Leadership: Mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is mandatory.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in financial software such as SAP, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, or ODOO.
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into high-level business strategy.
