About the Role
In this high-impact executive role, you will take charge of global accounting operations and group financial reporting processes. Operating at the intersection of strategic financial planning and rigorous accounting control, you will oversee global accounting functions, lead the consolidation of financials at the holding company level, and manage the group's overarching financial reporting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
As the Head, Group FP&A, your duties will include:
- Ensuring that financial statements accurately reflect the financial health of the business across multiple entities and regions.
- Leading the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting at the holding company level.
- Coordinating the accounting and month-end closing process for the holding entity and its subsidiaries.
- Overseeing global accounting operations, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations, to ensure alignment with consolidated financial reporting requirements.
- Ensuring IFRS compliance and adherence to local statutory regulations, managing regulatory reporting across all jurisdictions.
- Developing and managing global cost allocation methodologies, ensuring transparent and accurate reporting of shared expenses.
- Implementing and monitoring internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure financial integrity for high-volume, multi-entity operations.
- Collaborating closely with finance leadership on process improvement initiatives and directing accounting processes implementation for new entities and markets.
- Managing relationships with auditors and overseeing external audits for holding company and group financial statements.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and professional background:
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
- Experience: 10+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role in a multi-country, multi-entity environment.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with IFRS, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations. A strong understanding of multi-currency consolidations is essential.
- Professional Background: Big 4 experience is strongly preferred, particularly in audit or advisory services.
- Core Skills: Strong track record of delivering in fast-paced environments.
