The Role

This is a builder's role. As the Head of Finance, you will move beyond standard accounting to act as a trusted advisor to our Managing Partner. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks that will allow our firm to scale with discipline. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive leadership to inform strategy, pricing, and growth decisions through rigorous financial and operational insight.
Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario analyses to navigate the firm's growth trajectory.
Systems & Process Design: Build and embed robust financial workflows, management dashboards, and reporting systems that support scaling.
Compliance & Governance: Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations, while managing external audits.
Treasury & Risk: Manage liquidity, cash flow, and banking relationships while identifying and mitigating operational and financial risks.
Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

We are looking for a candidate who combines high integrity with a strategic mindset. The ideal profile includes:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA is a plus).
A mandatory professional certification (ICAN/ACA or ACCA).
8 to 12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a management capacity.
A background in consulting, advisory, or professional services is strongly preferred.
Expertise in financial modelling, IFRS, and tax compliance.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business intelligence.
