Position Overview

As the FP&A Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial trajectory of Renmoney. This position is central to the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and overall business performance analysis. Working closely with senior management, you will provide critical, data-driven insights, develop complex financial models, and offer strategic recommendations to optimize business decisions. Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span several critical financial domains, including:

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Create, develop, and continuously validate robust financial models through rigorous back-testing. Lead the annual budgeting process, covering revenue, expense, and capital expenditure planning. Develop and maintain rolling forecasts that accurately reflect shifting business dynamics and analyze variances to provide actionable insights.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, the Board, and key stakeholders. Perform in-depth profitability analyses by business units, product lines, channels, or regions, identifying critical trends, risks, and opportunities using key operational KPIs.
Business Partnering & Decision Support: Optimize product profitability, support portfolio management, and assist with funding cost optimization and liquidity management. Partner with department heads to track and drive financial performance against targets, evaluate business cases for new initiatives, and provide ad-hoc financial analysis for pricing and cost optimization.
Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Build, scale, and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate business performance. Conduct extensive scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic, long-term organizational planning.
Process Improvement & Systems: Enhance and automate financial planning processes by implementing industry best practices. Leverage SQL and advanced Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI or Tableau to improve overall reporting efficiency while ensuring complete data accuracy across financial systems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and core competencies:

Education and Experience

A minimum of 5 years of FP&A experience in the banking sector, with specific exposure to lending products (e.g., personal loans, SME lending) or broader banking services (e.g., transfers, deposits, savings, debit cards).
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.
Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, solid confidence in executing SQL queries, and excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.
