The Role

As the Finance Operations Lead, you will serve as a critical pillar for financial integrity. You will oversee daily reconciliations, manage store cash flows, and ensure that accounting records strictly adhere to company policies and regulatory standards. You will be expected to bridge the gap between financial reporting and operational reality, ensuring that risks are identified early and controls are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Review and approve accounting records to ensure total accuracy and financial integrity.
Perform daily reconciliation between ERP and POS systems for regional store collections.
Manage month-end and period-end closing activities with strict adherence to timelines.
Conduct physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile records within NetSuite.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational risks and strengthen internal controls.
Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements and management reports.
Oversee tax documentation and regulatory compliance at local and national levels.

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for a hands-on professional who possesses the following qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Certification: Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or ICAN) is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the FMCG or retail sector.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with ERP/POS reconciliation. Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
