About the Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Officer will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in processing, recording, and reconciliation of all transactions. Your work will directly support our statutory compliance and help us maintain the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Processing: Prepare daily payment requisitions and coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless processing.
Accounting Transactions: Manage the daily input of supplier invoices and journal entries into the Sage accounting system.
Financial Reconciliation: Conduct thorough monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Statutory Compliance: Oversee PAYE and Pension schedules, ensuring all filings are submitted within regulatory timelines.
Records Management: Organize and maintain comprehensive financial documentation for audit readiness.

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for an analytical thinker with at least three years of experience in finance or accounting. The ideal candidate possesses:

A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Sage and Zoho Accounting software.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or ATS) is a distinct advantage.
