What You'll Do
As our new Finance Associate, you will be instrumental in supporting the smooth running of our financial operations. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records through timely bank statement and cashbook reconciliations.
- Preparing comprehensive transaction, settlement, and financial reports across multiple payment channels.
- Investigating and resolving transaction-related issues while actively supporting fraud monitoring and robust financial controls.
- Supporting daily finance operations, reconciliations, and essential regulatory reporting.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the absolute integrity and accuracy of the Bank's financial records.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess a blend of rigorous analytical skills, relevant industry experience, and a proactive mindset:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a dedicated Finance role.
- Prior working experience in a Bank, Microfinance Bank, or a specialized Financial Institution is strictly mandatory.
- A strong understanding of reconciliations, settlements, financial reporting, and financial controls.
- A high level of accuracy, professional integrity, and sharp analytical thinking.
- A proactive individual who takes ownership, performs exceptionally well under pressure, and genuinely enjoys improving processes.
