About the Role
In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company's financial health through diligent accounts receivable management, rigorous credit-risk assessment, and proactive debt collection. You will serve as a vital link between sales and finance, ensuring that credit policies are strictly adhered to without compromising business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct customer KYC and account verification while managing the customer master database.
- Perform order verification, credit clearance, and oversee order authenticity and delivery control.
- Enforce credit limits and monitor payment commitments closely.
- Execute debt collection, receivables management, and field credit control activities.
- Perform monthly customer, sales representative, and regional manager account reconciliations.
- Manage receivables ageing, classify credit risks, verify payments, and investigate credit discrepancies.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc / HND in Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience specifically within the pharmaceuticals industry.
- Location: Candidates must reside within Ikeja, Ogba, Ojodu, Magodo, and surrounding environs.
- Gender Preference: A male candidate is preferred to ensure team gender balance.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is highly desirable, along with strong competence in accounting/ERP software, financial reporting, and ageing analysis.
