The Role

Key Responsibilities

Credit Assessment: Evaluate loan applications using alternative data inputs, including inventory audits and repayment histories.
Risk Management: Monitor daily loan performance, flag early warning signs, and manage NPL (Non-Performing Loan) metrics.
Reporting & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records and provide actionable insights to leadership regarding portfolio health and repayment trends.
Operational Collaboration: Work closely with field officers to resolve inconsistencies, refine recovery strategies, and ensure efficient, accurate disbursements.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in microfinance, fintech lending, or commercial banking.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Analytical Prowess: Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with a sharp eye for identifying financial discrepancies.
Integrity: A commitment to ethical decision-making and handling sensitive borrower data with the highest level of confidentiality.
Location: Must be based in or willing to work from Abuja.
