The Opportunity

The successful candidate will serve as the principal financial advisor to the Board and executive management. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial health of the organization, focusing on large-scale infrastructure frameworks that demand precision, foresight, and high-level fiscal management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Direction: Define and implement the organization's financial strategy in alignment with our infrastructure and industrial growth mandates.
Capital and Treasury: Lead sophisticated capital structuring, financing arrangements for major energy projects, and comprehensive treasury management.
Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, risk management, and financial planning while maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage high-level relationships with investors, lenders, and development finance partners.
Governance: Ensure full statutory compliance and provide transparent, accurate reporting to the board and oversight bodies.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of excellence in high-stakes financial environments. The ideal professional will possess:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; an MBA or MSc is preferred. Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
Experience: At least 13–15 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with a specific focus on large-scale infrastructure or energy financing.
Leadership: A minimum of 7 years in a senior leadership capacity managing finance functions.
Sector Expertise: Demonstrated background in the power, energy, or public sector is highly desirable.
