We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and dynamic professional to join our team as a Cash Officer at our Makurdi Service Station.
About the Role
As the Cash Officer, you will report directly to the Treasury Manager. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of station operations by managing daily cash flows, maintaining accurate records, and upholding strict compliance with financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for collecting, counting, recording, and banking daily cash sales of the station.
- Responsible for the safekeeping of all cash collected.
- Preparation of daily and monthly POS reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy of the receipt of funds.
- Monitoring of fuel attendants as it relates to cash mop-up on the forecourt.
- Responsible for managing station petty cash disbursement and application for reimbursement.
- Responsible for responding to POS chargeback emails by providing support as required.
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting.
- Possession of a professional qualification (ACA or ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work effectively with and in team settings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well with little supervision.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar or related role.
