About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for examining financial records, evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing strategic recommendations to improve the group's operational and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits in accordance with approved audit plans.
- Review and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and day-to-day operational processes.
- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.
- Identify potential areas of financial and operational risk and recommend actionable corrective actions.
- Ensure absolute compliance with company policies, international accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare clear, detailed, and comprehensive audit reports highlighting key findings and professional recommendations.
- Follow up closely on the implementation of agreed-upon audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with and assist management in strengthening governance and internal control frameworks.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and professional competencies:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of active experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or a related field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
