Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from initial planning through to finalization.
Oversee the quality and compliance of audit plans, risk assessments, and working papers.
Drive the timely completion of audit deliverables in accordance with strict engagement schedules.
Mentor and supervise junior audit staff, fostering a culture of performance and professional development.
Review and prepare audit reports, management letters, and formal findings.
Cultivate strong professional relationships with our clients through effective communication.
Support business development efforts, including the preparation of proposals and client engagement strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate a high level of expertise and professional commitment:

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience gained within a practicing chartered accounting firm is essential.
Certification: Active membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) is a mandatory requirement.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and internal control systems.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing audit teams and successfully delivering complex projects.
Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard audit/accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
