About the Role

As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial records and supporting the finance department in delivering accurate, timely reporting that informs critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records.
Manage the processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure healthy cash flow.
Execute bank reconciliations to maintain account accuracy.
Provide support in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
Assist with payroll-related financial processes.
Maintain organized documentation and uphold filing standards.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to support overall operational efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with company policies and established accounting standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum of an OND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience; previous NYSC experience is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho).
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent organizational skills.
Professionalism: Integrity, confidentiality, and a high standard of professional conduct.
Location: Candidates must reside within or in close proximity to Ogba, Berger, Ikeja, or surrounding areas.
