Role Overview

As the Accountant / Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the Academy. You will be responsible for overseeing the school's financial records, managing budgets, processing fees, and ensuring strict compliance with standard accounting practices. Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily financial operations of the school, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and cash flow monitoring.
Oversee the collection of student tuition and fees, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reconciliation.
Prepare comprehensive financial statements, budget reports, and balance sheets for the management team.
Manage payroll administration and ensure timely tax remittances and compliance with statutory financial requirements.

Key Requirements

Possess relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline (e.g., B.Sc. or HND).
Demonstrable experience working in a school, corporate, or non-profit financial environment.
Proficiency in standard accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
