Key Responsibilities

As our Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational integrity of our business units. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Performing daily reconciliations of cash and electronic sales to ensure total transaction accuracy.
Reconciling bank statements and preparing comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow).
Analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
Ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Managing expense tracking to ensure fiscal prudency across all departments.
Overseeing payroll processing and the timely remittance of statutory payments.
Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to maintain transparency.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

Education: HND/BSc in Accounting or a related field. Membership of ACA/ANAN is considered a significant advantage.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally or other industry-standard accounting software is required. You must also be highly skilled in Microsoft Office.
Analytical Ability: Strong capability to interpret financial reports and deliver informed presentations.
Professional Traits: A high level of integrity, confidentiality, strong multitasking skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
