The Role

As an Accountant, you will serve as a key pillar in the organization's financial health. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing management with the vital insights needed for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements regularly.
Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Monitor cash flow and assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Process invoices, payments, and handle statutory tax deductions.
Support internal control processes and prepare documentation for external audits.
Identify financial discrepancies and propose effective solutions.

Requirements

Education: Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
Soft Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
Added Advantage: ICAN certification (or in view), previous auditing experience, or background in the FMCG/manufacturing sectors.
