About the Opportunity

As an Accountant at Proforce Galaxies Limited, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial records, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards, and supporting accurate financial reporting. Your contributions will be instrumental in providing the critical data needed for informed business decisions and maintaining the financial integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
Efficiently process daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
Proactively reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly to maintain financial accuracy.
Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing clear insights into our financial health.
Monitor expenses, manage budgets effectively, and meticulously track cash flow to support operational efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, including PAYE, VAT, WHT, and other relevant tax regulations.
Support both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of all financial records for easy retrieval and audit trails.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to support robust financial planning and control initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate who embodies professionalism, accuracy, and a strong work ethic. To be successful in this role, you should possess:

A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
A minimum of 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, demonstrating practical expertise in financial management.
Solid knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Sage, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex financial challenges.
A high level of integrity, accuracy, and unwavering attention to detail in all tasks.
The ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced, and onsite environment.

Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA will be a significant advantage, highlighting your commitment to professional excellence.
