Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure rigorous compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, support robust financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and deliver precise financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring absolute accuracy and completeness of all accounting records.
Support the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Track departmental expenditures against approved budgets and manage variances.
Liaise effectively with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Support the implementation of modern financial systems, ERP platforms, and digital automation initiatives.
Utilize advanced accounting software and digital tools to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
A professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
A Master’s degree or MBA will serve as an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
Prior experience within a financial services or other regulated corporate environment is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
