Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties, including:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems with daily transactions.
- Handling bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
- Processing invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Supporting budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
- Ensuring full compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and company policies.
- Assisting with internal and external audits and managing payroll information.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of proven accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or Tally experience is highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax requirements and financial regulations.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) is a distinct advantage.
