About the Role
The Security Liaison Specialist acts as the bridge between Max.ng and law enforcement authorities. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our assets, managing sensitive investigations, and ensuring that our business operations remain compliant and protected against risks ranging from fraud to asset diversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaison Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for police, security agencies, and legal institutions to facilitate investigations and incident resolutions.
- Incident Management: Lead efforts in investigating theft, fraud, and misconduct, while overseeing the tracing and recovery of company assets.
- Strategic Reporting: Document security incidents with precision, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to leadership regarding risk mitigation.
- Policy & Compliance: Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), conduct security audits, and train staff on incident reporting and fraud prevention.
- Operational Support: Represent the company in legal and security forums and coordinate joint operations with external security partners.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives in high-pressure environments and possesses an unwavering commitment to integrity. We are looking for someone with:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law, Security Management, Public Administration, or related social sciences.
- Experience: 4–7 years of robust experience in security operations, investigations, or law enforcement liaison.
- Specialized Skills: A deep understanding of criminal justice processes, evidence management, and prosecution procedures.
- Professionalism: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills, paired with the ability to handle sensitive information with complete discretion.
- Bonus: Relevant professional certifications (CPP, PSP, or CPI) and direct experience working with the Nigeria Police Force or similar corporate security environments.
