The Opportunity: Forensic Manager
As our Forensic Manager, you will be at the helm of our forensic and investigative services, playing a pivotal role in supporting clients with evidence-based findings and driving the expansion of our forensic practice. Key Responsibilities
Forensic Investigations
- Lead and execute comprehensive forensic investigations into fraud, financial crimes, workplace misconduct, asset misappropriation, cyber-related incidents, and other corporate investigations.
- Ensure all investigations adhere to stringent legal and professional standards.
- Expertly gather, preserve, analyze, and document physical, digital, financial, and documentary evidence.
- Conduct sensitive interviews and meticulously obtain witness statements when necessary.
- Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive forensic investigation reports suitable for management, regulatory, and legal purposes.
Corporate Investigations
- Conduct thorough internal investigations related to employee misconduct, theft, fraud, corruption, policy violations, and ethical breaches.
- Support clients in conducting meticulous due diligence and background investigations.
- Execute surveillance, intelligence gathering, and fact-finding assignments with precision.
- Assist clients in identifying operational vulnerabilities and critical fraud risks, providing actionable insights.
Risk Advisory & Compliance
- Conduct detailed fraud risk assessments and forensic reviews to identify potential threats.
- Recommend robust internal control improvements aimed at preventing fraud and mitigating operational losses.
- Advise clients on best practices in governance, compliance, and effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Support regulatory compliance reviews and investigations, ensuring adherence to legal frameworks.
Client Management & Business Development
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, legal practitioners, financial institutions, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand the Company’s forensic and investigative services.
- Prepare compelling technical and commercial proposals for prospective clients.
- Actively participate in client presentations, crucial business meetings, and industry engagements to represent WatchGuard.
Practice Development
- Develop cutting-edge methodologies, robust investigation protocols, and stringent quality assurance standards for all forensic engagements.
- Supervise and mentor a team of talented forensic investigators and consultants, fostering their professional growth.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality and integrity throughout all assignments.
- Prepare periodic reports on departmental performance and emerging business opportunities.
Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong foundation and proven expertise:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Law, Computer Science, Security Management, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in forensic investigations, fraud examination, corporate investigations, audit, compliance, or risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex investigations from initial planning through to comprehensive reporting.
- Exceptional investigative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong report-writing and documentation abilities, capable of presenting findings clearly and persuasively.
- Proven competence in commercial awareness and effective client relationship management.
