We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Retail Station Manager. This is a critical leadership role, positioning you as the key driver of operations at a Company-operated station. You will be instrumental in upholding our unwavering commitment to EHSSQ (Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality), championing sales objectives, and ensuring an unparalleled customer service experience. As a Retail Station Manager, you will strategically coordinate all financial and human assets to consistently achieve and surpass set organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Retail Station Manager, your multifaceted role will encompass:
- SAFETY, STANDARDS & CONTROL
- Ensuring the station consistently operates in a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment, adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
- Maintaining the highest standards for product quality, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience at all times.
- Overseeing the smooth running and maintenance of acceptable standards at Non-Fuel Retail (NFR) operations.
- SALES, OPERATIONS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Driving the attainment of all sales and financial objectives consistently, implementing strategies for growth and profitability.
- Implementing proper inventory management and meticulous product receipt procedures to significantly reduce exposure to stock loss.
- Coordinating targeted marketing activities to achieve specific marketing goals and enhance brand visibility.
- DATA MANAGEMENT
- Ensuring accurate and consistent utilization of reporting platforms to meticulously track sales, inventory levels, and comprehensive Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Facilitating timely reporting and precise reconciliation of sales/expenses and cash reports.
- Preparing relevant periodic reports and executing other duties as assigned by the LPG Manager and other Internal Team members.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Fostering effective liaison with relevant internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and partnerships.
- Protecting the company’s corporate image and reputation by rigorously maintaining product, human, and environmental integrity.
- PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Ensuring all station personnel perform their duties in strict accordance with the established Station Operation Procedures, promoting efficiency and compliance.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A minimum of an HND or a degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of LPG operations and proven prior experience managing an LPG station is highly advantageous.
- Strong capabilities in Sales and Business Development.
- 4-5 years of progressive working experience in a relevant capacity.
- Exceptional Relationship/Stakeholder Management skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral presentation.
- Proficiency in Account Management.
- Deep Industry Knowledge and keen Business Acumen, particularly within the Oil and Gas Industry Dynamics.
- Strong Computer Skills.
- Proven Leadership abilities.
- Effective Time Management & Personnel Effectiveness.
