About the Role

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leader in the Nigerian food industry, is seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join our Golden Penny Foods division. With over 60 years of heritage and a massive operational footprint, we take pride in maintaining the highest standards of production and distribution. This role is crucial to our mission of ensuring our flagship Golden Penny products reach consumers efficiently and safely.

The Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor will play a pivotal role in coordinating warehouse operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch of finished products, ensuring inventory accuracy, and managing warehouse processes to support our overarching business objectives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency.
Authorize and oversee the loading and dispatch process in compliance with internal procedures.
Generate and analyze daily dispatch reports to facilitate strategic operational decision-making.
Control vehicular flow and traffic within the loading area to ensure smooth operations.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate warehouse personnel to drive optimal productivity.
Oversee product handling and storage to mitigate loss and damage.
Enforce the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory management principle.
Maintain impeccable standards of warehouse hygiene, cleanliness, and facility organization.
Ensure that all documentation related to product loading and dispatch is precise and error-free.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: Minimum of 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in no more than two sittings; OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations. Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
Skills: A solid understanding of inventory management, strong leadership and team coordination capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
