About the Role
As a Van Sales Representative, you will serve as the face of the brand. You will be responsible for navigating assigned territories, managing van stock, and driving product sales across various retail outlets. Your role is vital in ensuring that customers receive high-quality service and that the company maintains a dominant market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales and distribution targets within your designated territory.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels in your van to meet customer demand and take full accountability for all loaded goods.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong, lasting relationships with both existing and prospective retail customers.
- Merchandising: Ensure product visibility is maximized through professional merchandising standards at every retail outlet you visit.
- Strategic Growth: Utilize effective selling techniques to promote company products and secure new distribution points.
Requirements for Success
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of NCE or OND qualification.
- Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of sales experience, ideally within the FMCG or distribution sector.
- Driving Proficiency: Possession of a valid Driver's License and a LASDRI certificate (where applicable) is non-negotiable.
- Skills: Ability to balance driving duties with active sales engagement. Proficiency in using smartphones and Sales Force Automation (SFA) devices is required.
- Logistics: Strong knowledge of local routes and adherence to traffic regulations.
