The Role
As a Van Sales Representative, you will be the face of our brand in the field. You will be responsible for executing sales across assigned routes, distributing our high-quality products, and ensuring our operations run smoothly on the road. This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable with field operations and possesses the drive to hit and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Route Planning: Proactively map out routes, identify new business territories, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Sales & Distribution: Efficiently deliver products to customers, manage order generation, issue invoices, and handle payment collection.
- Performance Excellence: Work diligently to achieve set sales targets and maintain optimal stock records.
- Operational Integrity: Ensure your assigned van is roadworthy, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Client Relations: Foster strong partnerships with customers and serve as the primary point of contact for feedback and conflict resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of an HND in any relevant field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience within the FMCG sector or direct sales roles.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Nigerian road networks.
- Physical capability and willingness to drive long distances.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and at least one Nigerian local dialect.
