Role Purpose
The Modern Trade Key Accounts Manager will focus on developing and executing Grand Oak’s on-trade strategy. In this role, you will build and sustain strategic relationships with the company’s largest and most critical on-trade accounts. By driving sales growth, negotiating tailored solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a central role in maintaining Grand Oak’s market leadership and long-term profitability.
Key Responsibilities (Principal Accountabilities)
- Oversee the affairs of the on-trade channel for the prime Strategic Business Unit (SBU) to ensure effective business coordination.
- Develop and implement comprehensive on-trade account strategies tailored to key clients' needs to drive sales growth.
- Nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients to foster mutual trust, growth, and customer loyalty.
- Formulate detailed sales plans for national key accounts to guide sales initiatives and achieve corporate objectives.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to consistently meet sales targets and maximize market share.
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated, client-centric solutions.
- Monitor and analyze key account performance metrics, sharing regular strategic insights with senior management.
- Track market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies proactively and sustain a competitive edge.
- Manage budgets efficiently to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Enhance brand awareness and visibility within key accounts through targeted promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a First Degree, HND, or MBA.
- Experience: At least 10 years of cognate experience in sales and key accounts management. Experience in the beverage industry is a strong advantage.
