The Opportunity: Hub Manager - Delta
The Hub Manager role is a pivotal second-layer leadership position within our front-line operations. You will be instrumental in spearheading the launch of new Hubs/Shops, driving their growth towards profitability, and ensuring operational excellence. This role demands a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to innovate successful new Hub launches and uphold our high operational standards. As a leader, you will be responsible for nurturing and coaching our 'Jaza stars' (front-line team members) on best practices, ensuring their professional development and contribution to Hub growth. Your ultimate goal will be to manage and accelerate Hub growth by increasing active customer numbers, enhancing profitability, and providing expert coaching to your cohort of Jaza stars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Hub Growth & Customer Acquisition: Lead initiatives to achieve an average of 130 active customers (L7) per Hub. This includes conducting door-to-door sales alongside Jaza stars in your cohort.
- Enhance Customer Retention & Revenue: Proactively engage with churned customers for retention and implement membership renewal strategies. Facilitate the transition of customers from pay-per-swap to membership models to achieve an average of ₦1M monthly recurring revenue and >₦2.8 ARPU.
- Ensure Hub Profitability & Compliance: Take ownership of Hub profitability, guiding Jaza stars on best practices for revenue remittance balancing and ensuring 100% compliance with lost and missing packs metrics.
- Coach and Develop Jaza Stars: Provide comprehensive coaching on sales techniques (pitch refinement, overcoming objections, closing, registration), customer service excellence (product education, communication skills, complaint resolution), and adherence to Jaza behaviors and SOPs.
- Oversee Inventory Management: Train and supervise Jaza stars on pack scanning schedules, tracking missing packs, executing pack in/pack out processes, pack rotation, and reporting defective or tampered packs.
- Problem Solving & Reporting: Identify and flag any dilemmas that hinder Hub growth or service reliability to the regional coordinator promptly.
- Lead Recruitment & Training: Manage the full recruitment cycle for Jaza stars, from advertisement and interviews to comprehensive training.
- Strategic Planning & Feedback: Actively participate in Hyper care meetings, presenting clear action plans for Hub growth, sharing progress feedback, and highlighting challenges.
Who We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Sales, Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Customer Relations, Entrepreneurship, or similar fields.
- Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities, with prior experience leading, managing, or training a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with diverse individuals.
- A data-driven professional capable of making analytical decisions.
