Opportunity: Head of Sales
We are actively seeking a dynamic, commercially astute, and highly experienced Head of Sales to spearhead our sales function and drive sustainable business growth. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader responsible for crafting and executing robust sales strategies, cultivating and leading high-performing sales teams, strategically expanding our customer base, and fortifying relationships with our esteemed corporate and high-net-worth clients. The Head of Sales will oversee all sales operations, proactively identify new business opportunities, develop and nurture key accounts, meticulously monitor market trends, and ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience across all sales channels. This position calls for an inspiring leader with profound commercial acumen, superior negotiation skills, and a proven track record of delivering consistent sales growth, ideally within a luxury retail or premium consumer goods environment.
Key Responsibilities in This Role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives for revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Lead, mentor, coach, and inspire the sales team to consistently achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Establish and monitor critical sales KPIs, fostering accountability and high performance throughout the team.
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and drive market expansion initiatives.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with corporate clients, High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals (Ultra HNIs), and other key stakeholders.
- Develop targeted strategies to revive dormant accounts, reactivate corporate clients, and acquire new customers.
- Drive sales performance across all product categories, including entry-level, mid-range, and high-end luxury offerings.
- Develop and execute sophisticated key account management strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities to continually refine sales strategies.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and comprehensive business performance reports for executive management.
- Collaborate synergistically with Marketing, Operations, and other departments to champion overall business growth initiatives.
- Ensure the maintenance of exceptional customer service standards and deliver a world-class luxury client experience.
- Monitor inventory trends closely and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize product availability.
- Oversee pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales campaigns to maximize profitability.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards impeccably align with the company's luxury brand image.
- Support the continuous learning and professional development of the sales team, including product knowledge and brand training.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement targeted development plans where necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and brand standards.
- Represent the company with distinction at networking events, exhibitions, corporate meetings, and other crucial business development engagements.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a closely related discipline. An international degree is a distinct advantage.
- A Master's degree or MBA will be considered an added advantage.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 7 years held in a senior leadership or management role.
- Extensive experience within the Luxury Retail Industry is essential.
- Proven success in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that consistently deliver measurable business growth.
- Significant experience managing corporate accounts and high-value client portfolios.
- A strong understanding of luxury retail, premium consumer goods, jewelry, or timepiece sales.
- Proven experience working effectively with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals (Ultra HNIs).
- Previous experience in luxury retail, investment banking, asset management, private banking, wealth management, or luxury real estate will be highly advantageous.
- A verifiable track record of closing high-value transactions and consistently exceeding sales targets.
