About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented individual to manage inventory across our three state-of-the-art farms and maintain meticulously accurate records of all harvested produce. In this pivotal role, you will act as a bridge between field operations and financial oversight, ensuring our green initiatives run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record farm inputs, tools, equipment, and other inventory across all three farm locations.
- Maintain accurate harvest records, detailing the precise quantities harvested from each specific farm, section, or greenhouse.
- Reconcile inventory received, issued, and remaining in stock to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
- Submit regular, comprehensive inventory and harvest reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
- Work closely with farm managers and harvest teams to verify records and ensure data integrity.
- Assist with monitoring pepper production and supporting overall farm operations.
- Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned by management.
Work Arrangement
This is a dynamic hybrid role designed to give you a balanced work environment. The successful candidate will be expected to visit the farms two to three times per week, with the possibility of more frequent visits depending on peak harvest schedules and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Practical, hands-on experience in pepper cultivation, particularly with bell peppers and habanero peppers.
- A solid understanding of pepper harvesting, grading, post-harvest handling, and production record maintenance.
- Strong organizational, numerical, and record-keeping skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in digital tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Must be trustworthy, highly accurate, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in farm inventory management, accounting support, or agricultural administration will be considered a distinct advantage.
Method of Application
If you meet the requirements above and are excited to contribute to the future of clean, green farming, we would love to hear from you.
